Mike Newman, John Wood, Stuart and Pat joined me for the Southbank summer walk.
We enjoyed some variable but interesting light, stopping to capture the book sellers under Waterloo Bridge and taking a look at a wooden model which had been erected on two long barges close to Blackfriars Bridge. The model represents the City skyline of 1666 and it was scheduled to be set on fire on Sunday evening to commemorate the Great Fire of London which took place 350 years ago.
