Projected Digital Image (PDI) Competition requirements
PDI images, including monochrome images, should be submitted as jpegs in the RGB colour mode with the sRGB colour profile. Images should be 8 bits per channel and a maximum size of 1600 pixels wide by 1200 pixels high (UXGA). There are detailed instructions on how to prepare images for projection here. Images may be down-sized to 1400x1050 pixels (SXGA+) for some competitions, depending on the requirements as specified.

Monthly Cup League Comps
There are five competitions in the league. One of the competitions has an individual trophies but the scores in all five competitions will accumulate to determine the winner of the League Cup. For each competition there will be a 'best-in-show' selected by the judge.
For the Fothergill Salver competition the entry requirement will be for 2 set subject and 3 open subject projected digital images. The Fothergill Salver will go to the best set of 2 set-subject images.
For the other four competitions in the league, entry requirements will be for 3 open and 2 set subject images.
Within the PDI league there are no age limits for images but an individual image may only be used twice as an open subject and once as a set subject. Images may be used in different years as long as this overall restriction is not exceeded.
The Global Trophy
The entry requirement will be for 5 projected digital images on the designated set subject. The Global Trophy will go to the best overall set of 5 images.
President’s Cup/Chairman’s Rosebowl & Animal Trophy.
These competitions are outside the league and are held on the same evening. All images submitted must have been taken in previous 12 months. Images used in these competitions are not bound by the usage limit within the Monthly Cup league. Therefore, images previously used to their limit in the PDI league can be used again in these competitions. Members may enter up to 4 open subject images for the for the Preseident's Cup/Chairman's Rosebowl and one image for the Animal Trophy. An image used in the President's Cup/Chairman's Rosebowl may not be used in the Animal Trophy. The author of the best image in the open class will be awarded the President's Cup and the author of the runner-up will receive the Chairman's Rosebowl. The author of the best animal image will be awarded the Animal Trophy.
